That's one heck of a find there. Good looking ride, when are you putting her to work?

Looks like a Studio. Late 90's? Whats the wheelbase?

[IMG] Here's my weights before I put the lift down and after. Didn't move the fifth wheel, since there was no need. [IMG]

1999 just a 72in sleeper. 271in wheel base. shortest wheel base I have ran so far. works real well in these tight jobs I have been doing.

Hmmm, the fuel cap threw me off. Most Kenworths I've seen have the fuel caps at the back of the sleeper. The Studio has it in the front. What size tanks are those?

Darnnit, posted in the wrong thread. Mods, could you please move this to the HH photo thread?

Apparently I'm just failing at technology today, meant to edit my last post, not add a new one... ugh

100 gal. tanks. that is the one thing that I didn't like about this when I did it. in order to get the right axle spacing on my pusher I had to sacrifice fuel capacity. the fuel caps are to the front for a reason. there is no bunk braces at the front that don't hinder putting in a fuel nozzle. that is going to change though. I am going to install 40in. battery boxes and reconfigure the exhaust elbows to straight 90deg. to get enough room to install 120gal tanks. I don't want to stretch the frame. the short wheel base is perfect for what I am doing. sorry about hijacking this thread. meant to do this in another thread but goofed.

Yeah...that would definitely put a strain on a long day. You may even have to fuel up twice a day on a long summer day. I wonder if there was a way that you could get a bigger diameter tank made. I dont know who it was, but someone posted a Canadian spec'd old school Pete with 400 gallon tanks. I would LOOOOOOOOVE to have 400 gallon capacity. That was actually one of the main things that made me stop running Canada. Our fuel cards only worked at the J, and most of the fuel stops are those PetroCan cardlocks, which we couldnt use. Got tired of dropping the trailer leaving it with the pilot cars, and running 40 miles to find a Shell station. Worse thing was that my debit card wouldnt work up there.

    CanadianVaquero and Superhauler Thank this.
