I got a hold of a David at c....was he your guy ?

 

From what I read here it sounds like some guys are pulling loads off the boards, that are posted by approved brokers ... rookie way to do it. You've got it right, call the brokers directly establish a relationship, get to know them and let them know you. That way you can make something happen, instead of waiting for it to happen.

Not my guy. But David sounds like the name of the guy I was told was running the Eagle/Celadon account, when I was checking to see if Eagle was an approved carrier with them.

 

Allrighty then,see if I can make things happen for myself now!

 

so let's say I sign up for DAT's Truckers Edge or ITS. I'll only be able to get loads that are posted by approved brokers? I wonder if being able to list the truck will ever be an option.

 

I would presume it is yes on the first question - based on what I've read here.

As for the second question, heck, I don't know, I don't drive for Eagle ... but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once.

 

Im going to book a room there now lol. I should be able to answer any and all questions by the morning! Wish me luck!!!

 

fr8monkey. Does any of your paperwork have Eagles MC number on it? I have the DOT number but no MC number.

I will also be in Indy the 13th for orientation. Question for anyone, I live in SW Ga., but have no problem running all 48. Is it a problem get back to deep South East on weekly basis. Plus, not many comments about hauling oversize loads. That's more of what I am interested in, so can someone chime in on those loads. Thanks!
