Walmart here I come!

Very cool on taking the step son. When you are comfortable at WM, start taking him with you for the week. WM is very family oriented, and loves to see the kids. Our son goes every chance he can get. He has WM patches on his shirts (I sewed them on) that I buy him at ............... wait for it................. WM. LOL He has WM hats, and even a very nice WM jacket that the GTM gave him.

Well I've just finished day 3 of my orientation here at Walmart and the hype is real. Folks I've never never ever been around so many people that are so happy where they work and stuff. It's alot of info but at the end of the day it's all still trucking to me just be 100% honest about everything and be respectful to others and take safety really seroius and stay in compliance with DOT and you'll work here forever and you will make a really good living I've seen a few pay check stubs today (big numbers) I was an O/O before I came here man and this guy was grossing what I was weekly no BS and I was making 100k plus. So those of you that read this thread and hear all the positive stuff it's real man I'm living it. Well going to bed getting ready for day 4 going over operations and safety for the next two days than I'm in the truck for a week with a mentor. Just thought I say something on here it's been quite for a few days. Good luck to anybody that applied and if you make it here never forget were you came from because it's going to be hard to compare it to Walmart real talk peace.

Brian is in his 4th week following the 2-week mentoring period, and he still says all the same things you are saying! LOLOLOL, he says, "Everybody is peace and love, peace and love!"

He's still working on getting his rhythm, but things are really falling into place for him. It's just a matter of DOING it.

 

When I called in Mon Mike was giving orientation. He called me back Mon night and found me an orientation in Sutherland for the 20th so I'll head down there the 19th. I contracted out of there so I know that DC, then I guess I'll be up in Smyrna the 27th.

 

Are u also a walmart driver ?

I believe I'm just waiting on a call when to start orientation. I've did two interviews, road test, physical, drug screen, and my background check came back good yesterday! Hopefully, they call soon! I'm getting anxious!

 

Hi, I'm just curious. I know a few people in Tobyhanna and the rumor is someone got caught behind a trailer taking a leak. Word is that he should have been fired but was given 3 steps instead of being fired. I hear he was behind a trailer doing it and a bunch of managers were out in the yard and walked right around the trailer while he was peeing. LOL I pretty sure he comes on here a lot, maybe we can hear from him. So anyway, for the new guys, remember that you are always being watched. Don't screw up a really good job for something stupid.
