Hello Again Everyone,
I recently posted inquiring about an in-cabin camera here. However, I realized that the main camera I need is to have multi-camera system that captures multiple angles of the tractor/trailer.
My main question is, is there any drivers/fleets in this forum that have been using these multi-cameras or have researched these cameras?
(excluding the GoPros and the Drive Cams) I'm NOT looking for anything that's overkill or with a GPS in it.
Any info or links to a thread that can point me in the right direction is greatly appreciated!
As always thank you in advance for your replies.

Does "multi" mean 2 cameras? Or more than 2. There is a huge difference in technology and price over 2 than there is on a 1 or 2 cam device.
Do you need the device to hold past videos older than say 12-20 hours ago? Or can an SD card be the storage media?
Are any of the cameras going outside and therefore need to be waterproof?
Are any of them going on the back or inside of a trailer or are they all going to be on the tractor? -
Multi means 2 or more. Specifically an in-cabin camera aka a dash cam for the Tractor, a camera on the trailers facing the what is viewed behind and camera that is facing the direction the truck is heading. Waterproof should be considered.
I believe an SD card would be most effective and optimal.
Hope this help answer my question better. Thank you -
"Effective and optimal" is a relative expression. If effective and optimal is saving one day of video on the unit, then yes, SD card.
If effective and optimal to the next guy is saving a week or 2 weeks or 3 weeks of video before it starts to over-write, then a hard drive is optimal and not SD card.
So I think you are looking for a 12-volt DVR system that records 3 cameras. 2 of those cameras are outside and need to be waterproof. You don't need a hard drive because an SD card will hold approx 19 hours of video before over-writing older videos.

Thank you very much for your reply. I feel that in this case the term "multi" means 3-4 cams. Thank you for the link you provided as well. This gives me more insight on what I am specifically looking for. I will be conducting more research on this. Thank you againDieselboss Thanks this.
