Thanks for checking. I know the aux power distro box on the frame cross member has relays and such for the marker lights. No mention of headlamps. I'll look back underneath to see if I can find the box you're describing.
We flicked the cruise lever three times and got the check engine light to flash some numbers. Can't find out what they mean:
5 and 8
6 and 3
2 and 9
5 and 1

Here is a link explaining multiplexing system on M2. I think the box is the Chassis Module. It has more wires going to it than I thought. I called the guy that replaced his but he is not in town today. I can't promise this is your issue but it was his.
Here is breakdown from Freightliner. Probably better.

Here's the culprit. What we Air Force guys call an R-12 Fuel Truck. Basically it transfers jet fuel from the ground hydrant to the aircraft, and doesn't have an on board large fuel tank to lug around. Also a pic of our battery compartment, master switch and rea of the cab. No box that I can see besides the one pic of the power distro box from the frame cross-member near the rear axle. I know our problem is something simple... just finding what it is, that's the pain. Day 4 of troubleshooting tomorrow.

Attachments did not work.

Lets try this again...

On the truck I was talking about it was on the opposite side of frame of where the ground wires are in the picture you attached that shows the truck batteries.

This picture shows two possible locations.

You're the man Smellfunny. I had almost given up hope of finding the chassis module, and then found it under the driver's side cab above the fuel tank forward of the battery box. Swapped it with one from its sister truck, and success! Now to order the module and wait for it to travel over here. Can't thank this group enough! Forums are the greatest thing ever. I only hope this thread can one day help others. 4 days of troubleshooting... thanks Freightliner for your fancy multiplexing system, ugh. Pics of the module attached. Thought the raised square bump-out would mean a quick swap of the relay mounted internally... not in this case. They fried this thing good when they hooked up jumper cables wrong. Always use the positive post in behind the left front tire. Lessons learned. I will spread the word to my mobile maintenance guys. Only thing still to figure out... the little beep that is still occurring. It stops when the brake is applied, but when released its there. Air is at 120, so its not that. Makes for an annoying drive.
Smellfunny Thanks this. -
Glad to have helped. Wish I would have had the other truck here to take pictures to speed things up. Now on the beep problem. There is a set of blocks with air and electrical going to them that are usually above the rear end or a crossmember closer to the cab. One of those blocks are probably bad. I will try and figure out which one and let you know. It might be a few days.
