If your BMI is above a certain point Prime requires a sleep study. Contact and ask the recruiter what that point is.
Good luck telling them to pound sand

Since no one else is being direct - they tell you to do the sleep study & you say pound sand, Prime will kindly show you to the Greyhound station. Period.

Wonder if prime's doctor ever finds a prospect that doesn't have sleep apnea ?

No test or Dr Prime tested you and you did not have sleep apnea.... There's a big difference .

Likely NO TEST as he probably used the POUND SAND response when told test was required

Was told if I gained more weight, would need test next time. NO TEST.

Edit - I've lost 20 lbs since Prime physical & improved my blood pressure (I was one that had to re-take the next day because it was high at first).

Cat sdp and 123456 Thank this.

heh, I've had the same thought myself. I have heard people talking about having to go in for the test and they ended up not having sleep apnea.

What would bother me is going in for the test and passing but end up getting charged for the test.

That's what happened to me, the doc who did my physical made up some stuff about me having a small throat in addition to being a fatty. I had no symptoms/no sleep issues/etc. the guy running the sleep study woke me up just before 5am and sent me back to my room, he said there was no chance I had sleep apnea and the doc that reviewed the study came to the same conclusion.

I was pissed, but I needed the job...

It seems to me if im paying for it, I should have a little more say in what doctor I see. Giving any company full control over my doctor choice who has a financial incentive isnt much difference than a politician.
