Guess that was more general. Want the largest memory card a camera will support.
I think it would be worth trying anyway.

    I don't have a Garmin Dashcam.
    I have a Powerucc Panorama G.
Mine supports at least a 128gig SD Card.
My 32s don't last all day before it starts overwriting.
That's why I'm wanting something bigger.

Got the Garmin 10. Not bad. Great picture quality, the sensor is a bit touchy though. Spring for the 20 if you can find it, it has all the info on the screen, hooked to a GPS. I have to remember to turn off the audio, because nobody wants to hear me sing along, Lol

I got the Pony dash cam at petro yesterday for 50 bucks. Seems like an okay dash cam, without any of the frills (WiFi,gps or driving speed). The mount is a little flimsy, but the image stabilization works pretty well. The recording is just okay at day time, even on the highest resolution settings. Comes with an 8gb sad card which only fits about 16 three minute clips, but it will overwrite.

And here's some ####### in a pickup making his debut on a first day of filming

I just ordered the the DB4 from DieselBoss.... You have to start somewhere and it seemed like a good piece.

I just ordered the DB4 ... would you post up what settings you would use for day and night?

I will just adjust the setting each time.

On the screen, you will see the letters "EV" and then a number. This stands for "Exposure Value" and is a measurement of how much LIGHT sensitivity the lens is using at the moment.

While viewing the screen, use the "Up/Down" buttons on the right side to increase or decrease the EV number to allow more or less light in. Here is a way to think about it:

    +3 = it's really dark outside
    +2 = somewhat dark outside
    +1 = dusk
0 = default value (start here and used most of the time)
    -1 = darken the picture a little
-2 = very bright outside, darken a little more
-3 = holy cow, we're in Yuma, Arizona in August and it feels like the surface of the sun kinda bright and we need to dim the picture a lot.

Bear in mind that each of those values will still auto-adjust, so "0" is the most used mix of day and night. But raising or lowering the EV number will raise or lower the entire auto-adjusting scale.

I bought the 20 shortly after reading your post. Had it in truck about 2 weeks now. Got to say, I really like it. Picture quality is outstanding. Keeps the time, your GPS location and your speed accurately. Has a ton of different settings. I just have it set to record non stop but noticed you can set it to start up only on "incidents".

It was really pricey but the hundred dollar one I bought at a truck stop was okay but never kept date/time properly. And liked to freeze a lot. Think it was Big Dawg brand or something like that.

I will say I have a 32 GB card in the Garmin. It records in 4 minutes increments. My old cam I had set to ten minute increments and wanted the same for this one but couldn't figure out how to change it. But being it keeps the time correctly, the 4 minute slots are way better.
