whaaat??! I always thought they were minimum 270 inch? Thats the biggest reason why I've always stayed away from them- maneuverability. I've always ran the northeast and those things are a p.i.t.a. at a lot of shipper/receivers. twenty inches makes a big difference. I'd trade off some ride comfort for better turning. Nice choice Loke! Anybody know what kinda fuel mileage the new ones are getting?(average of course)

I'm not gonna argue that point Truck Medic. I am all about being organized, but a lot of the ones with Eagle are new at it and are still learning. Not excusing it, just saying be cool, calm and collected. It will be better for others, but right now we are gonna have to suffer through it.

    Theory incoming.

Yes, we are the guinea pigs in this scenario. Lets put a bunch of drivers on the road, tell them they can self dispatch, supply them with everything they need, and see how this works. My theory is this, lots of drivers are going to fail. But some will succeed. Once they have around 800 stable drivers, I'm willing to bet it won't be anywhere near this easy to lease on with this company. Right now all you need is a pulse. How long is that going to last?

On another note, any flatbedders who want a W900 better get in while the getting is good. One, a lot of W9's are being turned in by guys who're depending on driver managers (dispatchers) to find them loads. Two, Celadon is taking them from Eagle and dumping their own drivers into them. Eagle still has access to some but they're going fast. Three, Eagle and Celadon are going to push those Lonestars like 40 going north. They tried with my class, but caved in the end. I'm saying this because I overheard a phone call that the head of Eagle recruiting was involved in. They need body's in those ProStars with the fancy front ends..........

P.S. It is amazing how good my grammar is after about four beers!!!

Eagle sounds like a good place for someone that is willing to actually do the foot work and run like mad!

I got enough saved to weather the storm. The delay isn't so bad, I should be up and running by Wednesday since I'm also going to have to find a trailer. Glad to see you doing good. Few guys from our class are already turning trucks in smh. It plainly says on the website that you must pick your own freight and lanes that make sense for you. Some of these guys could barely calculate fuel mileage let alone book their own freight. I got a feeling once Eagle is established they're going to get super picky on their requirements........
