Actually what are heard from my dm and another was that broker freight in only for right now but within the month eagle will have there own freight? Maybe u can have them clarify which way they are going with that?

 

I can't wait to find that out fr8monkey...taking brokers away will take the $$$ away unless it is set up like Mercer

 

I hope that does not happen. Getting our own freight is the main reason 95 percent of us leased on here! If they take that away from us this whole deal becomes instantly- NOT worth it. Might as well lease on with Swift lol and run a ton of $1.40 per mile freight.

 

Well some drivers will like it well enough to stay no matter what happens, and if the do get rid of the brokers, then they are going down the same path as Road Runner, some stayed others saved up money to get out and go somewhere else, lots of trucks were turned in.

 

Whoa really? I don't like the sound of that. Not at all. If they do it had better be like Landstar, Mercer or Schneiders board. But why do that anyway. Why not let us continue to do as we have been? Eagle isn't big enough to offer freight on a large scale even if we have access to all that Celadon can muster. Hopefully it will be an option and not the rule.

don't forget the extra 10% if you are late one minute.....so instead of 25% you will pay them 35%...now tell me who delivers every load on time...ijs !!!

oh...... no fuel discount from this company either....like as if you worked for road runner or something...say you pump 300.00 at the pump and you get your settlement and you see maybe a 240.oo charge from the company which means you saved 60.00...over here you get nothing... oh you can bet celadon gets it they just don't pass it on to you...so basically what you pay for is what you get..

and what are the chances of that !!!!!!

once all those fees they charge you hit you you 2 will be running back...lol...no fuel surgharge, when they calculate your pay they don't do it all at once...they take the SUPPOSED broker fuel charge off the top then charge you the 25%........ or 35% if you're late.......so let me break it down for you driver...if broker says load will pay you 5000.00 and broker says 1000.00 of fuel surcharge is included in that then when you get settlement it shows 4000.00...do you get it...then the 25% is taken out of that and you better hope you aint late cuz 35% will be the % if you do.....now you do the math driver !!!!

be warned....all trailer repairs are on you after 30 days...you have been warned !!!...now you tell me what you gonna do if one of those tires blows out and so forth ??

you know what......I been trying to tell these people....they keep talking about yeah 30 brokers amd load boards....but do they not understand that is their situation...my particular DM ONLY let me use 3 brokers....do you hear me....3......I was set up to fail.....plus these guys in Laredo don't know and don't careless about you......you will fail...so if you are making any money at eagle and its not but a small % of driver doing it....be grateful !!!!! this outfit is a setup !!!

sounds to me like you got a sweet deal running all that avg new York, new jersey, Connecticut, pa freight...its great that you live in the big apple but some of us aren't so fortunate!!!......well over half the truckers I know desperately wont even go to the east.... so to each its own....its convenient for you to go home because you live there but other live in different places and cant see hm for days and weeks and rates are still bad...but hey
