Nope. As I said in another post when I get the trip to have the camera put in that is it. And I really do not care how many miles you have run.

'Get used to it' is the mantra of those that seek to control and oppress.
It only works when no one fights back.

But what would the world do if no one wanted to drive trucks anymore because of all the BS?
What would the companies do if drivers left because of plainly stupid decisions?

The people that run those companies, and insurance companies, have to eat too. They also need their big screens, gas, booze and everything else truckers bring to them.

    Get used to it?
    Forget that!
Maybe THEY should start getting used to some resistance?

the best way to find out if they turn it on when its not supposed to be is cover the #### thing. get a message saying uncover it and you know they lied

I think they have a diagnostic that would trigger an "event" if it detects it's not working properly. And by not working properly. I mean it being covered up. And then since it recorded an "event" they would be obligated to look at the recording. Then they would see you have it covered.

Youll know if it creates an event because the led on the camera changes colors. Or flashes. Or something. I don't remember exactly.

Is the a fuse a power supply? Cover the camera and be done with it

A little Vaseline might do the trick.
It wouldn't block the light and it would still show movement, so it shouldn't trigger an error message.
Everything would just be very blurred.

And how safe is it to be looking at the camera to see when that little light comes on?
See? This thing can be a distraction on many levels.

    DocWatson Thanks this.

And what would disabling the power do except to get the driver in trouble?
That is not a viable workaround, since it is connected to the Qualcom. If the QC determines it is not working properly it will send a red flag.

Neither is smearing the lens with grease, for that matter. Not for long, anyway, if video is sent.

The only workaround to the problem is to refuse to work with it installed.

Typing slower and proof reading your responses can go a long way towards someone understanding what you actually are saying.
Sorry I don't understand gobbledygook better.
I also have a hard time with foreign accents, as well as baby and little kid talk. But those things are not usually the result of simple sloppiness.
