Also if they move you into a ProStar the first thing to do is grab the handle on the back of the sleeper,See it it rocks up and down buy hand.
If it does the cab shocks are shot. This has happened on three ProStars I have had and it beats your body to death.

Because not all companies treat drivers like pieces of meat. It's guaranteed nothing will change if he doesn't ask. $700 is a small price to pay verses hiring a driver qualified to haul hazmat chemicals

I'd view it as an investment in myself. $700 is cheap when you put it in perspective. I bet the TM would be more inclined with reimbursing you the cost of the seat than he would be to buy it outright. Show him the seat. When he says, "How much?", hand him the receipt. He might reimburse you and give you that's phill about how the seat has to stay with the truck and whatnot...that's a-okay with me if he reimbursed me. If he doesn't, that's cool too. You don't have to jump ship, and you save your back.

I've never seen a superior mack , what model are they ? And does everyone of them ride rough? They are basically a volvo.......so they should ride pretty well.

I think FLATBED called it right. There is somthing amiss with that air ride.. But getting a large company to fix something like that correctly is almost impossible .

You work for the company and you are unsure of it?

If you know the system and the company, why not take a chance with them as a lease owner/operator?

As for the seat, go get an Air-hawk Pro seat cushion. Its worth the money.

Ive always thought it was just the opposite and keep it all the way back so it's directly between the drives. Maybe it was just the truck I was driving that day. I had a prostar one time with it all the way forward to get legal and it was comically bad. #### near threw me out of the seat on the expansion joints :)
