I'm usually home 2 days per week anywhere from 34hrs to 48 or more. I've only done 3 resets on the road in last couple years.
I go home weekly or I wouldn't do this but as you see I run hard and I book freight really tight sometimes. But I do run and run hard.damonarnold816 and mickimause Thank this. -
So out of the $231,000 gross what was the net?
TennMan and damonarnold816 Thank this. -
This is actually what I currently use to plan for my fuel, its a great tool to help you with the fuel cost.drvrtech77, mickimause and TennMan Thank this. -
Well it's as official as can be, Deposit sent, APU install payment sent, and truck was picked up from dealer today, hopefully to be ready by the time I'm finished with orientation next week. I couldn't find a reason not to come to Schneider and do the choice board.
TennMan Thanks this. -
Well as far as net goes I haven't figured up this year's since we just started May but for the 8.5 months of last year just my net income from the choice board after all deductions EXCEPT taxes was just under 61k. When I get home I could give you exact but it is less than 61k I'm positive. So far this year I'd venture to say 37k roughly I haven't tracked it. I track yearly.

Now I will also say I spent a lot on fuel because I averaged less than 7.3 mpg and it's because of how I run. I do the speed limit not 60. I run fast and hard so I can be home weekly.
I could bring home more but I doubt I can earn more revenue. I will say that when I get the new truck I'm going to try and not run as many miles as long as I can earn and be home weekly. MY HOME TIME IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN FUEL MILEAGE OR NET INCOME.ghostdog, TruckinDrummer, damonarnold816 and 4 others Thank this. -
Also I believe the net income isn't as important from one individual to the next because we all have different needs and monetary requirements. But the more the better.
Some might not think it's worth the hassle or extra work involved as well as the responsibility however I do. -
just to be honest 3400 was a sign on maintenance account bonus and then 1000 was a recruit bonus my 1 and only recruiting bonus ever since 2004.
So technically the earned amount is 4400 less than the total however the total is what is taxable before allowed deducrions. -
" to Green Bay and BEYOND"!!!!!!!!
TennMan Thanks this.
