whats a good trucking company to start with on the west coast? cdl for a year

Went in today to drop off some papers and she surprised me with an interview. It went very well and I will have a job with them when I'm finished in a few weeks.. I also got a chance to talk with some drivers kkw seems like a good company to start with only thing is you will unload sometimes mostly sofas and mattress.

 

That sounds good news. How many miles per week ?

 

From what the driver told me it was 2500 or more a week. But when you start it will be less then that. It's also $450 a week during training about 4 weeks

 

The miles are not bad I'm sure they will probably start you of with 1500 to 1700 miles work your way up.. Let me know how the road test goes. I'm like 5 mins away from Kkw.. Good luck meng..

No not yet, I got held up with my first school dootson it's student to trainer ratio is way off not a good choice to anyone

 

You all are absolutely right on about ol' west express. I worked there back from 2005-2008 it was good back then and as I was ready to leave for good they started being very Ignorant.
