Just heard that my Crete driving buddy died while parked at the SLC terminal two weeks ago. I hadn't been able to connect with him on the phone and I called the Phoenix terminal and they gave me the info. God Bless you Doug Young, I will miss your friendship. He drove for Crete for close to 15 years. R.I.P. Buddy.

Maybe... Longbow hauls tankers, not sure for who. And didn't Chemster move to Poly and then to tankers, then maybe back to Poly,

I'm still rooting for crude oil to climb to 100 plus a barrel so you keep busy and they keep drilling.

    Thanks Tucker!
We're still hauling but the direction this company is going is more conducive to hourly pay and not the percentage pay that we get. We're going into the bulk hauling which means we have 20 to 25 loads a day coming from the same place. Those loads go to the same offload so there's a bunch of sitting around and waiting. We have to give up the first hour at each stop then get only $20/hr after that. Anyways it's ok for some but I would rather keep moving and get things done.

Stungjoe. Check out fuel hauler LLL transport. Guy I talked to said 4 days on 3 days off. They hire when openings pop up in an area. Said he was bringing home a little under $ 1000 a week.

How much personal time does Crete allow you to take before you have to go back to orientation?

Hoping all at Crete is well and good. I have to be honest....I will never drive a truck governed to 62 again, now that I'm basically ungoverned. The difference is amazing, both in the ability to stay out of harms way and in terms of stress. I don't miss it a bit.

If the ATA has their way, speed limiters will put everyone at 65mph max...
