Big G Express or SouthEast Carriers

For those interested, Big G does not hire in Michigan; I just learned that from Casey. Bummer.

I hear that a lot from many companies...I gotta get outta here.

I have been back at SEC for almost three weeks now. They are keeping me rolling. The one day I did have to sit
they paid me $75 layover pay. They are
treating me good like when i was here before. I have no complaints yet. As long as they still have customized home time I will keep driving for them.

 

Didn't know you were back breeze. I'll be back Tuesday. I can't wait. They still have those cali loads?

 

Im not sure about the Cali loads. The last two weeks I have been running from Woodburn to Houston and back and forth again. I am now heading from Woodburn to Laurens SC, They already gave me a preplan from Greenville. SC, to Houston that I will pick up Sunday. I am bumping my 70 hrs every day now. They are all drop and hook except my reload from Orange TX, to Woodburn IN, They keep me busy and don't bug me at all. After I drop in Houston I will let them know I am ready to get home by next week for time off.

 

Hey Denali Dad did you ever give SEC a call? I don't know if they hire out of Michigan or not. They have plenty of trucks with no drivers sitting at the yrd in Lawrenceburg TN,

 

I can't say if I like the new changes on TTR or not. I am a dinosaur from the pre computer age and it takes me awhile to adjust to new things. Sort of like I am not to fond of the new DOT regulations, or the new breed of drivers replacing the old drivers.

 

I did call them. They hire in parts of michigan, but not in my area.

 

The new interface takes some adjustment. There are aspects I like and some I don't. Overall, it's not bad.
