You should Hit up Button Trans out of Dixon, CA. I worked for them for just under 2 years. Great equipment, great pay. I'd still be there if I didn't have a small child at home.

Yeah. They're OTR but have freight going down south quite a bit. The main route I ran was Washington to so cal.

lot of places say no more than 1 in so many years or 2 in 10 or something along those lines. A few say NONE ever. Do your research. sign up with various trucking job sites. you'll get emails every so often telling you who and where for what. Do this before you shell out for school. look local too ,see whats available, if it makes it worth the cost of school before you go OTR or whatever you want out of this career.

Not two years old. If there's only one after 3-7 years doors will start opening.

The smaller companies are your best bet. Or look for a all owner operator company and ask if any trucks open. I drove for otr 28 years ,and got stupid on the motorcycle. it took me 3 1/2 years to get back on the road. don't give up,iit can be done, good luck.

How goes the search luddybuddy? As Mountrose just mentioned, it might take some time but it can happen if you want it and have learned from past mistakes. Good luck!
