I used to have it a lot before they hired Texans. It was pretty much about a half day getting loaded w multiple stops near normal... Then down you go. You either reload there or close by and then right back up. Its usually a short week if its your first run... but its 2500 miles round trip.Getting it on Tuesday or Wednesday kinda sucks for this reason... on the other hand 3500 miles equates to some decent cash for the week. Easy run except for Dallas. I easily put in 650 miles/day... So I can do it in about 4 days. Just depends if you like to drive that much... Oklahoma tornadoes and ice will also slow you down.

Headed there on the 15th for orientation. Can hardly wait, but I need to do right by my current employer (CR England). It's threads like this on that have me headed to Nussbaum; and I am hoping that you have not steered me wrong.
Scoots Thanks this. -
Right now... you are getting paid .27-.35/mile, your truck is beat to hell, and you get home once a month... Maybe. You get cheated out of 20% of the miles you run. On top of that you are treated worse than garbage at a company that runs the most notorious L/P scam in the industry and should probably be the poster child for running illegal and driver abuse.
You are going to a company where you will make on average above .50/mile, guarantees you $1050/week (I AVERAGE about $1350 gross, $980 net), offers a 401k match, has great insurance, paid vacation, unpaid time off if you need it, an actual refrigerator, automatic trans, paid holidays, keeps its trucks in top shape and respects its drivers. I have NEVER been cheated on miles at NB ever.
You have made a very wise choice... Consider yourself very fortunate. CR England has been the doom of many drivers. You have escaped with your life, license, and career intact. The nightmare is finally over... Breathe easy and have faith... It gets better.truckerjosh2011, unloader, carramrod32 and 4 others Thank this. -
Actually, the dedicated account I'm on isn't that bad. It's not that good either. Just glad to not be driving for a company with a "reputation" anymore.

do they run super singles & tag axels ??? my previous company ran those and I hate
them.

Yes, we do run super singles and tag axles. However, while we still have a few trailers like the one posted above, we quickly discovered that the skirts that go all the way back are way more trouble than they're worth. We're now getting trailers like this one.

Yeah, they're nice trucks, and they've got some nice extras too... ECAS adjustable suspension, in cab fifth wheel release, fridge, double bunks. I always thought the tails looked a bit odd, but there's definitely a difference in fuel mileage between a trailer that has them and one that doesn't. And good fuel mileage adds up to decent bonuses quickly. Plus, they're a lot less annoying than I originally thought they'd be LOL.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
In my understanding, the full length skirts may make a reappearance. The current issue with them has more to do with Wabash's supply of replacement parts in red than wether or not they are cost effective. Honestly, I see a fair amount of fuel economy improvement, even though it makes tandem sliding and pre-trips more of a hastle
