    I got my truck today. Loaded in OKC, headed to Washington state. Nice long run out of the gate.

    My only grumble is the apu is busted. It sucks but I make do.

    I have slept in far worse and hotter conditions... It was called Iraq.

    If you don't care about the 75$ idle bonus you can rev up the truck in neutral just above normal idle and set cruise I believe. You won't get APU fixed till your in OKC.

    If my truck would idle longer than five minutes that would be great. Sadly the factory settings shut it down after five minutes.

    That sucks about OKC being the only repair place because I am headed to Everett WA.

    In my kw at idle I could turn the cruise on and then press the resume/set button and press it two or three times to idle it up and it would stay on pass 5 minutes. You're other option is to leave trailer brake on and take off tractor brakes. Hope that helps

    Sorry about that mr cribb. That is truly unfortunate if there is not anywhere in the western half of the US that they work with that can service your APU. Hope you are able to get it resolved and that some Driver Manager sees the light and gets you cool ASAP.

    Lol. I did some reading on this model apu, and there was a recall saying discontinue use, this was in 2013 and my rig is a 2014. Oops.
