    Pottsville has fleet drivers and Swift, and they also (as is typical) use drivers from Toby, as well as from Symrna, Mt Crawford, Johnstown, Marcy, Sutherland etc. Pretty busy for sure. Lots of hungry people up our way. LOL.

    Same here. Sealy, Palestine, New Braunfels, Sanger, Plainview. All those are Texas.Opelusis, and Roberts LA, Brookhaven MS, Bentonville, Searcy, and Clarksville AR. All of these Dc drivers and once in a blue moon Ottawa, KS and St. James MO. That is a lot of help for New Caney.

    I have a quick question about the 30 month minimum driving time requirement. My husband retired from the Marine Corps last year and currently has 8 months driving time. He meets all of the other requirements including having his hazmat and has had a background check done when he got his TWIC. Given that Walmart is actively trying to increase their veteran ranks, do you think they'd waive the 30 month drive time requirement?

    There has been so much great information here, thank you for sharing. I enjoyed reading the posts and relaying the information to my husband. He starts orientation on June 29th, we are excited! I'm looking forward to being a "wally wife!" :)

    Couldn't hurt to try. I know that new hired must meet all the minimum requirements to be considered. Wal~mart takes an active role to help employee our returning service men and women. Have him fill out the app and see where it goes. Also tell him thank you for his service to keep us safe and protect our country!
