You said yourself, that you had no savings. But the company told you that you didn't need any.

Anyone even remotely thinking of becoming an O/O, be it lease purchase, or buying one off the lot, SHOULD have at least a few month's worth of expenses in the bank. Just because the truck is under warranty doesn't mean you won't have expenses. What about the down time, while the truck is being repaired "under warranty" Or you lose a couple of tires? The truck payments continue while you're sitting. No reserve cash leads up to what you've experienced.

I hope things work out for y'all at the new job.

and yet this lady goes around saying "and more stupidity" from us.

Just to get the record straight.. this lady's husband fleased a truck from hurricane (while hearing bad reviews) and did so with no money in the bank. One week out of work and they can't afford diapers.
But we're the stupid ones and don't know what where talking about..

    No offense lady ,

A man needs to take care of his own business. No way my wife would ever do what you have done. This company may well be a piece of crap; but no company has to put up with the spouse of an employee / contractor making wild accusations and writing threatening emails.

I wouldn't hire your husband to mow my lawn unless we came to an agreement that I would deal with him , and only him.

And as someone else aptly stated you expect compassion from them for your situation , but you showed no compassion for the lady whose mother died.

I hope your husband had better luck at his next company. If I were him I'd leave you home this time though.

I might not have been diving long but if you check my history on here I've asked soooo many questions and been reading and researching as much as possible even to this day. There's always more to learn.
If you check the forums there's not one story on here of someone going broke or someone getting screwed over by Schneider and yes that weighed a lot into my decision.
If it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't have ever had to faith to lease a truck with any company.
Schneider is different because you're in control, you pick your load and get paid %
My story is shared on here and I post my numbers.
Not ALL lease deals are bad.. only 99% lol

I'm shocked that a self-proclaimed CPA and business degree holder would jump into a business under capitalized....what a waste of time reading that OP

Yea l've read your posts,l think its ballsy to jump out there on your own,and most, and l mean most of these deals,"be your own boss"or you can own the truck",just come drive for us,,are stacked against the driver,There are only a few ways to do it right, and 1000 to do it wrong,,and if your a broke driver its gonna be double painfull.l mean if there was sooooo much money to be made, why would l want to share that with you?..These companies love people "just off the street",with very little resources so they can and do have 100 % control over a poor working man just trying to rub two nickles together..And they are very good at promising the white castle and delivering a 400 sq ft trl......I know maybe to many metaphors but thats how l speak..
