I took no joy in painting my white picket fence.

So I tore it down, and put in a moat, with a drawbridge.

Keeps the neighbor's I hate far, far away.

Based on a week out with my sig other:

Say u gotta P before its an emergency.
Rest areas are pretty quick to get in and out of, so don't say u gotta go as you are passing one.
Your 30 min break is plenty of time for a shower, as long as there's not a wait. If you need more time, maybe plan on jumping out while he fuels and parks.
If u have a smartphone, help him with trip planning and weather reports on the fly.
After a few paychecks, you can help him job search.
When he is backing up, stay clear of his mirrors.
Anything within 300 miles is almost there.
Plan ahead when shutting down for a 34. Some places are much better than others. Plan on getting out of the truck as much as possible. And, away from the truck stop too.
Make sure Werner gives you written authorization to ride. It's law that you have it with you.

With Werner, my Cascadia had an air passenger seat, my 386 Pete did not. There were times I really felt sorry for her. She picked up 2 black eyes bouncing across Louisiana, lol.

Enjoy the tour of the country!

oh give me a break :)

I've known little old ladies who are in their late 60's that were about 5 foot or 5 foot one inch drive trucks. AND they never even been behind a steering wheel of a car before they went to school for their CDL, so if they can do it, You can do it.
