The truth is, the only way you'll be successful in life is to get up every morning and go to work. And if you haven't figured that out by the time you get to the Choice program, no amount of $5 a mile loads is going to help you. On the other hand, if you know you need to work to make a living, you can run $1.20 loads day in and day out and be very successful. It's not the program, it's the person

It's cool to help other people out. But there is a limit. A strong healthy business has plenty of information that must remain confidential to sustain the business's success. There are many things we don't have any control over however, the details and plan of any business (for profit) best remains confidential. Business 101.
Just trying to give my 2 pennies.Fratsit, drvrtech77, Newbeav Newbie and 1 other person Thank this. -

There's been a lot more better loads now then there was during when I started.
I started in winter which is more difficult for freight I understand but that's all I have to compare currently.
In no way am I trying to make everything sound wonderful here... I'm simply sharing my story, experience and thoughts. If you go through this thread you'll actually see I did say quite a bit of negative as well.. including Schneider screwing up an appointment on Tuesday which lead me to blowing nearly all of my day sitting and having my next load pulled off me.EzekelRAGE, flatbedder4life, Dominick253 and 1 other person Thank this. -
In a nutshell. If one does not succeed in this program. The problem lies within.
TransplantBadger Thanks this. -
Me giving out free "keys to successes" isn't appreciated by my fellow drivers here.
Again will remind all of you that you all pretty much did the same for me when I was asking you all endless questions for months. Without your guys help and sharings I wouldn't have had the confidence to put $5k down and sign a 3 year lease.
Out of respect I will refame from giving out all the juicy details of "how toos" in which to get the most out of the load board. Some of you view this as stickly business and other drivers being competition for the best freight and etc.. I understand and respect that.
Us drivers are a family and I want to see us all do well and help each other.. that's all it really is.
Some of you would prefer drivers screwing up being meaning more opportunity for you.
I on the other hand think us helping each other to do well would mean better opportunity for us all.
It's drivers whom are clueless working for nothing that I think are hurting us and rates... not the other way around.
However there's line between helping vs hand holding.. I'll do a better job at staying in the middle.Last edited: Jun 11, 2015

Well said Freightwhipper. Your a pretty smart guy (for a truck driver) LOL. Only kidding.....the part.about the truck driver.
Waggledaddy, maurice80 and freightwipper Thank this. -
I don't feel like hes giving all the secrets away, hes just telling his story from his experience and his choice on where/how to run like we all make and do
He always has been honest and helpful, its alot like other threads on here with other guys talking about there #s, the only difference is its his experience and his #s. I don't see the big deal.EzekelRAGE, blade, maurice80 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Just like there's ways to work that load board there's ways to "work that" also...
lmao!blade, Waggledaddy and T_TRUCKER. Thank this. -
I fail to see how frieghtwipper, or anyone else for that matter, posting their numbers is giving away trade secrets to any competition. After all, the "competition" would have to be in the same area, wanting to go to the same place for the same rate and have access to Schneider's Choice board for it to be competition. And, since he's posting it after the fact, it isn't giving away anything.
But, never let logic get in the way of a good screed.
I'm thankful he and others are posting their experiences, makes my choice a whole lot easier.blade, Waggledaddy, Ooops and 9 others Thank this.
