Holy sheep ####. Hope that u got some sort of compensation for all the dry running.

 

Here is the bottom line with Eagle Flatbed. They refuse to load you with good paying freight in a timely manner, so you make nothing. So you book your own loads (which the GM doesn't like you doing), and then when you do need to get them on the phone to approve the freakin load, they don't answer. Then you lose the load. you try booking another one and they drag their feet about send confirmation back. On top of all of it, they get 25%, which should only be 15%, and they don't even earn that much. They constantly set you up to fail.

 

They gave me $300 to go get the trailer. at that point I went home. Tried to get them to send an email with the paperwork for the trailer, but they refused. Said I had to sign in person, but when I got back to Gadsen, they had the paperwork sent by email to the girl in the office and had me sign it. I could have done that at home. Once again, I was pissed!!!

I drove from my home in south ga, back 5 1/2 hours to Gadsen for that at my expense, so the $300 wasn't worth it.

 

Westenntrucker, you might want to rethink you trip Monday!! Just sayin!

 

Here is another problem you all might want to listen too. There is a problem with the brokers. As soon as you get them on the phone and they punch in Eagle MC# the good rate just went to #### in a hand basket. They will put you on hold and then come back saying someone else has already got the load. I have had this happen a lot.

 

Wow, yeah I'm not thinking it's worth the gamble. I mean I can go to STI and pull their wagon fee free, get 50 bucks a month towards my phone bill and a lot more benifits with the same deal thru quality and a lot less expenses. And a 6k sign on, sooo yeah.

 

Eagleops,if you're still following this can you weigh in on some of these reports from previous poster's? I.e.two week orientation,waiting for equipment,given equipment that is obviously not new ,but being charged new price? I don't know many people,truckers or not,that can go 2 weeks without a pay check,gimme a freakin break!!!!

 

Kryptonite,just so you know,I'm not implying that you are making this up!,I would like to hear from eaglops how these sort of things would happen having a mother company such as celadon with all their experience....

How and why could they hire people that would operate that way? Just curious!
