That is surprising about the washout. Here in Denver they actually have, or at least used to have a account for just that purpose before a dirty trailer went to Golden. I have even had the roof washed off of about foot of snow

This ... run where the freight is. I get out of California, head east and stay there until I want to go home.

So this Walmart load to Hurricane, UT had a note saying I have to follow the Qualcomm routing which takes me on I-40W to Flagstaff then north toward Utah. Nobody can tell me why and the rout will burn me for 168 miles. TA at Gallup, NM.

They don't pay for a washout?! Wtf kind of stuff is that?! Do they not know pretty much after every load on the reefer side we HAVE to get the reefer washed out. Maybe it's different for dry vans?

Just in case yall don't know. We have an account with blue beacon. Don't have to send in a receipt or anything. Just give them your trl number truck number. Trip number and I think that's it. But it only covers for basic washouts. Anything too dirty and they charge extra. Then you'll have to get advance and po.

Elevation sensitive product ... you should be getting paid for the modified route. If not contact your DM to correct the routing.

Remember years ago I did that run, Baytown to Hurricane and the routing then was across 10 to Phoenix and then up to Vegas and Swift paid the out of route for company drivers. Us l/o are told find the best way. It is on us, and that was up 287 to 40 and then over to Flagstaff and up 89

Now a update. Turned out that I was in a reserved spot at the T/A and had to leave. Could not even pay since they were sold out. That place right now is a cluster so on the street in front of the terminal. Glad that the GPS has the new routing in here with the road closed.

That is the route I have to take. I'm going to call Erasmo tomorrow for a fix on the routing.

It isn't a bad route. Depending on timing the Little America I Flagstaff has amazing bathrooms with huge tubs.
