Obviously, you don't have a clue of what I'm talking about. I bought fuel in Pa today @$3.159 - $.64 fuel tax, that you have to pay no matter what, = 2.519 net. Here in OH fuel is $2.899- $.28 fuel tax = $2.619. Which state has the cheaper fuel?? Plus, since PA has the highest fuel tax in the nation, any excess fuel I buy in PA the excess tax will be applied to any other state that I didn't buy fuel in. That's why you got zapped on your fuel tax. The cheaper price at the pump is NOT the cheaper fuel.

Also, FW, I don't buy fuel in IN or VA because if you buy too much, they only give you a partial credit not a full credit on your fuel tax.

    sigh*

Perhaps you didn't read my posts..
I was talking about fuel costs.. costs to operate etc etc. There's more to that than just pump price.

    Simple question..
Where does it cost more to operate a truck?
    The Mid-west or Northeast?
Beyond pump price what about MPG?
Flat land out out in the mid-west vs all the hills and Appalachian mountains out in the Northeast.
Especially pulling a heavy load out there will wreak your MPGs.
    What about IFTA taxes?
As far as I know what you're charged isn't exactly the same everywhere you run.

    Dominick253 Thanks this.
