    What the heck is going on? You know it's BAD when CN harvey.. BNSF Elwood and CSX Bedford Park are getting you in and out within 15 minutes and theyre a ghost town.

    Are you talking about slow freight? It's just the ebb and flow of the freight. I noticed it a couple of weeks ago. I've been doing a lot more deadheading for straight pickups.

    Yeah, I'm starting to get real scared of it, this summer's busy season, hasn't really felt THAT busy. A few holdups here and there (ingating or outgating at CN Harvey or LOGPARCHI) but for the most part, haven't really felt us get slammed (not even after the ports shutdown)...ominous if you ask me...

    My dispatcher said it was a train derailment that caused all kinds of problems.. Next week should be busy.

    Alot of freight hasnt grounded...........another day with rails empty. BNSF Elwood is absolutely gorgeous the past few days.. in and out within 30 minutes. Although sad.... when its empty... it means its dead.

    Like RERM said .. (he works at the same company I do)... we're still getting dispatched on a daily basis... and I KNOW alot of drivers at other companies... it is D.E.A.D. So I am grateful to at-least have a load.. doesnt matter if it is local or regional.

    Well, ran Monday and Tuesday, tonight Elwood was empty, no 40's or 20's.....never seen it so empty.....tomorrow I go on vacation, hopefully by next week things will pick up!!!
