Your foot continues to be inserted into your mouth sir. Probably a result from reading to many forums. My 680 leaks, the peter car I had before that it just Rained inside my sleeper. The weather stripping on the door came off 2 weeks after I had it.

All the trucks are junk. Yes this 680 has a smooth ride and a quiet engine. But my first 680 2014 had me in he shop at 40,000 miles and After 60,000 miles I was in a motel every few weeks from it breaking down and shops didn't know how to fix it. Made it to 100,000 and I refused to drive it. My 2015 680 hasn't given me those problems just had to get steer tires replaced at 100,000 miles and I can't put my phone in the cup holder area because that is where the rain likes to drip down.

I've been lucky with my T680..very few problems.

Had a water leak but 3 dealers could never find it.
I drove myself crazy until I finally found it..sweet relief.

Had to replace my steers at 130K..it was the drives out of alignment.
So that's on me..should've checked it when the wear started.

    Other than that smooth sailing.

Nothing wrong with the Cascadia's..I would have leased one but SFI spec's them like company trucks.
If I'm dropping money I need to get something for it.

What would be the difference between Company and O/O spec? Didn't know there were many options to be had on the Cascadias.

Don't get too caught up in this...

I don't understand all the hate for Freightliner here that goes on by our resident T680 elitist. I know I'm putting fire to gasoline when I say this, but why not, I like constructive arguments:

The T680 does not make you a special snowflake. It's a fleet truck. It may have a few options like some extra gauges and a slightly upgraded interior, but at the end of the day:

It's the same truck that every other lease/operator with a T680 has
It has a low-torque clutch and transmission rated for 1,650 ft/lbs
It's ordered to spec with max accelerator speed of 80MPH (dunno if they change that later, anyone tried?)
It has the Bendix Wingman collision avoidance crap since drivers can't be trusted to drive safe themselves

No matter how much you want to make fun of the Swift and Prime L/O by calling them "fleece-operators", you, too, are a "fleece-operator".

I'm not knocking anyone with a T680. But to turn up your nose at anyone that drives a Freightliner is silly.

Chances are the DD15 in the Freightliners will outlast the MX-13. And that's coming from a die-hard Cummins fan with a Caterpillar in his current truck. The DD15 is a good engine.

All trucks can break. I don't care who makes it. You've experienced first hand that moron technicians and service managers are just as likely to work at the KW dealer as they are at Freightliner.

SNI's shops stock parts and common wear items for Freightliners and can do work on them. From what 91B20H8 was telling me, they won't touch the KWs.

Some T680s will last and be great trucks. Others will be absolute piles of crap. Trucks aren't made like they used to be.

Sadwar has it right with his new ride... DD15, 12 speed auto, diesel APU... gonna be a sweet ride for all that Northeast traffic.

Since we're busy measuring **** size here, let me know what kind of shape it's when when any of you T680 boys roll over a million miles on the odometer. 1.3 and counting here!!
