They have treated me well, so I have nothing to complain about. All co's have quirks, but I am happy with them.

Yes, I have had a bad experience with Maverick. I drive for TMC, you know the black and chrome outfit. Well, I was driving West on I 30 the other day. The further West I went the more my chrome started tarnishing. I continued on and my paint started to bubble and the chrome started to peel. I was going WTF. There was this terrible stench. My beautiful truck was desolving right before my eyes. Then I saw a sign ahead that said ""Little Rock City Limits. OH NO! My brain is on overdrive at that point, LITTLE ROCK!!!! NO, NO, NO, I gotta get out of here. I headed North and everything went back to normal. I did have to polish my truck, paint and chrome, when I stopped that evening. It was a close call. I don't know what might have happened if I actually drove past the Maverick Terminal, but it wouldn't have been pleasant.

That happens when a show truck encounters a working truck!:biggrin_25523:

So the worst thing about Maverick is that they make TMC drivers cry? I like it already.

Maverick drivers, all we ask is that you take a shower at least once a month, I would say do it the same time you wash your truck, but we know you don't wash it once a month.:biggrin_25520: I won't even get into the changing the underwear.:biggrin_2555: And to answer your unasked question, no a 6-Pack of underwear is not supposed to last a year, but only six days!:biggrin_25519:

See now your confused again and have the companies mixed up again. That sun bouncing off that black hood has fried your brain...We actually work out here and shower daily. Riding around in the AC from truck wash to truck wash ya'll can get by with the monthly showers...:biggrin_2559:

I dared to call myself by my name in my signature line. I sure would hate for them to find out my user name is my real first and middle name. No telling what they would do!:biggrin_25510:

I'm currently driving for Schneider and seriously considering switching to Maverick. It's not an easy decision, because Schneider actually treats me pretty good, but I have small kids and if Maverick will get me home almost every weekend like they promise, that will be worth it. Also dry van is easy, but kinda boring. I'm used to hard physical work and miss it. Tarping and securing loads might help there a little. One question I have, and I would appreciate any input, it says on their website the average first year earning is 52k, is that realistic?
