I am 30 and workout 4 times a week, have no issues, but the lower back pain, which I started to have couple of months ago. It really makes me worried on how I will feel when I get older. How do you guys deal with it?

Lower back strengthening exercises like "good mornings" served me well.

Also what Schrek said. Lower back stretches are great if done daily.

It took me years to finaly look for the reason. I found it. Its called anterior pelvic tilt. The easy explination is, normaly when your standing you thigh/butt muscles are at rest, and to lift your leg is stretching them. As drivers we reverse this, and doing so weekens the lower back. There are stretchs for this isssue, also the reason i walk duck foot.

The seat is old, but in good shape. I was thinking about getting a new one, but aftermarket only. Not sure, which one to get yet

Sometimes lower back pain can be associated with the kidneys. We as truckers are sometimes guilty of drinking to much coffee and sodas and not enough water.

Most time, back pain can be attributed to the hip flexors. Do a YOUTUBE search for stretching out the hip flexors. And if you are having back pain, set your seat verticle. That gansta lean will get you in trouble.
