LMAO, that video is epic! CRE is big time since I left. Mormon city no more!
The only reason I stayed with England is because basically I started there, and the money was good. Not sure I want to go back to them, as we all know they are a great starter company, well to me anyways.

I can't afford San Francisco. The cheapest condo/house I could find was a million dollars. I need 3 bedrooms. My buddy just bought a fixer-upper in San Francisco for just over $800,000.00 but he can do all the work himself.
I settled for Las Vegas area finally; found a good deal on propertyvegas.com
Some lady was in a hurry to sell and move to France and took my first lowball offer. Money didn't seem to matter much to her; I bought her 1/2 million dollar house dirt cheap. -
I honestly just don't feel like going back to England, not sure why, as I feel with 3+ years experience I should be able to get a job at a much more "respectable" company! -
How much did you get it for? Funny thing is, one of my plans when I get back out on the road is to save up about $150K , then lowball about 100-500 homes that are asking $250K-$300K, and see who takes the bait! Only homes where the owner is out-of-state of course! Instant $100K-$150K equity.
I do regret not buying property when I was with CRE and had money to buy a few properties. Oh well, can't dwell on the past.Chinatown Thanks this. -
If I were you I'd ho back to cre. If its just money why not, you have a wild card.. You know how it works
xlsdraw Thanks this. -
What kind of experience do you have coding? The jobs with big bucks for big companies are hard to land. You might find a job at a start up, but you better be talented, crank out elegant code quickly, and be willing to do it CHEAP on the hope that the start up will make it.
You might be better off coding custom software for local small businesses. Maybe find a web design company that needs good scripting and CMS integration/customizing. Local web design firms are always on the lookout for programmers with strong SQL and JSON skills.
But you've got to pound pavement, and be willing to eat ramen. You can't find that coding job while you drive, and you might find your salary requirements a bit out of reach at this stage of the game. I mean, you weren't clearing 100k+ your first year out, I would imagine you wont make 100k your first year back.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Do any of you computer guys, BeanDip/Pacific Islander, know what "403 Forbidden" means. Is there a way around it? Sometimes this Truckers Report website is blocked and "403 Forbidden" is on my computer screen. A few days later it goes away and I can get back on here for awhile. -

I do believe this is the future for me, and this is the biggest debate I am facing. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to just get to the Silicon Valley area and just get a started job doing something, anything, even if I'm not making much money, just to start networking and being with like minded people.
On the other hand, I am flat broke, and making money out on the road, would give me to invest in an opportunity or business. Do I follow my heart, or follow the money. The choices in life are so tough sometimes. The only good thing about this conundrum is I love Ramen noodles. With 2 eggs and some Tabasco added, its the best!
I honestly just want to do a whole paradigm shift into finding a any job in the valley and going from there, but at the same time it is hard to deny that making money OTR would give me opportunity to invest and possibly hire people, as I do want to start a startup eventually, and get an product/idea I have designed and brought to market in the next few years. -
