“[Jamie] was taken away by that tractor truck driver,” said Joe Witcraft. “She didn’t even know it was coming.”
The witness, who spoke to News 5’s Rose Ann Haven as she was filling out an accident report on the side of the highway, said the truck driver was seen swerving for several miles and his head was “bobbing up and down.”
“We couldn’t even see his head,” the woman said, claiming the truck driver was distracted.
I guess they did not believe what the witness said about this truck driver. I figure back in my trucking days any witness telling lies about me if I were involved in an accident they would have been believed by the police. -

Well, Ok, so it was an "accident" ... he "fell asleep" ... so I guess so long as it was an "honest mistake, could have happened to anybody", then all is well????
Guess we need to stow this away in the back of our minds in case we ever do something stupid and kill somebody, we can just say we "fell asleep". Wonder why that argument didn't work for that Walmart driver in Jersey? -
I think you need to let it play out a while longer you cant kill people and claim you fell asleep and everything is ok it's not going to happen the driver is in big trouble trust me.

Plus, a celebrity was involved in that accident, whereas in this accident, nobody "important" was killed. Sounds callous and harsh but had Tracy Morgan not been involved in that accident, it most likely would have been handled differently. -
