FW just so you know for the next POS trailer that tandems dont slide.... Disconnect both air lines from the trailer, put the red line on the blue trailer plug, leave blue one off and have at it. Works everytime i get a POS trailer that won't slide

In the KW we have trolley hand brake does exact same without having to switch airlines.

    Another helpful tidbit ....

If they won't slide but pins are not stuck then get a rolling start BACKWARDS and then grab trolley brake hard to lock up the tandems while still on the fuel.

Yep. That works too, I haven't had a trailer with the pin jammed.....yet. (Knocks on wood) most of the time if im sliding a crappy trailer the tires just roll.. I did it yesterday on a trailer thats older than i am.

What he is saying is... sometimes the slide on the trailer is very tight to the point where the wheels will begin to roll. The springs alone won't hold the wheels from rolling. By applying air to the blue line, the pressure will assist the springs to provide additional brake pressure. Don't forget to open the trailer brake valve.
Never needed to do this myself, but I see where he's coming from.
