It wasn't a lot, probably around what I'd earn after fuel working a full day on a pretty good paying load.
But they washed the truck too but that's no big deal.

I certainly didn't do it for the money because overall I probably earned less than I could have because I had to take that cheap load to get me there.
I did it more so for the adventure and doing something different that will probably never happen again in my life.
They said it was just gonna be my truck when I accepted to do it but then in the process they sneaked in pictures of me in front the truck.. for a "memory for me" and it won't go online.
I haven't shaved in like freaking two months.. imma be real pissed if they post that mess all online lol.

 

I've never gotten paid anything nor have they paid for my fuel going out of route dealing with POS trailer drama.

Usually I try to get myself out of a screwed up trailer when in my judgment I think it will be a big issue or take a lot of time to get resolved.
I do that by calling in and pleading my case which SO FAR as worked.
There was one time I actually just did a swap for a different load at the same shipper I saw on the load board so that wasn't much a hit besides a time hit. That was one the times there were multiple missing pins on the tandems.
Bare in mind these kinds of things only have happened when I picked up a preloaded trailer, I don't take POS empty trailers and screw myself.
There have been times I rolled with stuck tandems and some of those times I got rejected by a customer because of it.. aka those times I went for repair.
It's not a good moment when a customer rejects you because the tandems won't slide

 

I get lured in for the food there but I ain't going if it's nighttime anymore.

They are good but not if that's all you can eat all of time.
How about some variety Peelot? maybe a little? please?

I went to the Sheetz truck stop in Virginia a few days ago. Wooo man that place is great!
They've got touch screen menu's with sooo many food options you can customize and then they make it for you on the spot! I wish places like that could be everywhere...
I got Cheese Curds and Garlic Parm Chicken Tenders (almost said Chicken Tandems lol) when I was just there. Heart attack to go baby! lmao!
