    Oh man, I cant count the times I left my beer bottle on the bar while I went to the head. I remember the beer bottle smelling like fish a time or two.

    No, but I did drive up to Dallas from San Antonio, and met Chris at a book signing he did back in early 2012. So I do have a signed copy of American Sniper, signed by the GOAT sniper to ever live! Well did, not sure where it is now since me and my fiancee split. Hopefully, she still has my belongings that were in our storage. I don't know. I will try to find the pic I took with him and post it if I can.

    When he got killed, every overpass in San Antonio had people with flags to remember him. It was a sad time.

    I don't know that I would classify him as the best sniper to ever live. There have been many improvements in the technology of the weapons used since Carlos Hathcock.

    Everyone can argue the point of confirmed kills and yes Chris had more. As for being the best sniper of all time, I can't give that to him.

    Simo "Simuna" Häyhä (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈsimɔ ˈhæy̯hæ]; December 17, 1905 – April 1, 2002), nicknamed "White Death" (Russian: Белая смерть, Belaya Smert; Finnish: valkoinen kuolema; Swedish: den vita döden) by the Red Army, was a Finnish marksman. He used Finnish M / 28-30 rifles, (which is based on the Mosin-Nagant rifle) in the Winter War, he killed at least 505 men, the highest recorded number of confirmed sniper kills in any major war.

    Or a Woman sniper.......

    Liudmyla Mykhailivna Pavlychenko was a Russian-Ukrainian Soviet sniper during World War II. Credited with 309 kills, she is regarded as the most successful female sniper in history.

He holds the record for the most confirmed kills by a USMC sniper, having recorded 103 confirmed kills and 216 "probable kills" in his 16 months of action

    Your right, I shouldn't have used the word GOAT, I guess I should have said most well known, and inspirational american sniper, at least for me anyways!

    I just watched a documentary on Simo last week, and yes, I would have to agree that he is probably the GOAT, even after half his face was shot off.
