I avoid medium and small truck stops; even if you find a space, you're just as likely to get blocked in by some blockhead who comes in late and doesn't think about anybody else.TB John Thanks this. -
Second, got a smart phone? Get "Truckers Path". Its a must have app.
TAMtn Gal, TruckerWife630 and tow614 Thank this. -
If you have a smart phone thr trucker path pro app will even tell you if there are spots available
TB John Thanks this. -
It's getting harder to function as a driver without a smartphone. Take pictures of things like holes in the deck to show a DM trailer damage, scan and submit bills using Transflo's super app, and finding a parking spot...it's a must-have item and well worth the money.

He did get the book. I will see if I can find that app & make sure its on his phone, too. We'll make sure he doesn't get stuck in ATL again! His load was going to Smyrna. Hate wasting hours. Of course he ended up wasting about half a day when he went to the next pick up because he had to wait on permits.

Not sure why, but I expected the ride to be a little smoother. Headed to B'ham yard to get his load for Monday. It's about 3 hours round trip back to the house. It's really not bad. I don't think any of the kids would enjoy it for long though.
