This "influx of choice drivers" are pretty much just drivers changing jobs.

People keep assuming "oh more drivers here = less loads for the rest of us".
But if other companies are losing drivers going elsewhere that's less loads for them and the loads go to where the drivers are.
That's the way I look at it.

If all drivers quit Swift tomorrow and joined other driving jobs then all Swift's accounts and customers go elsewhere.

Just like drivers swap around loads swap around.

I'm not concerned about more drivers leaving their current driving jobs and coming here.
What I am concerned about is something that could vastly increase the driver pool, like say lowering the driving age to 18 for one example.

just my 2 cents, which is more cents than a Werner driver earns lol

Problem is FW the drivers come quicker than the customers and freight.

Over time only the strong survive no matter the Situation.

    Well we'll see...

In my 7 months here everything seems about the same to me, not really better or worse.

Right, and that's what caught my attention, I believe that you stated "you don't expect to experience that again" I'm simply suggesting (my opinion) that you should be ready if and when things start to plummet at Schneider. Gotta have a exit strategy.

I'm just a halfwit company noob but in the future if I become a OO, you better believe if the carrier I lease on with flops, carrier #2 will be on speed dial.

But it's only been 7 months and Schneider is just starting to reach it's popularity peak.

I did make sure that I could take my truck elsewhere if something catastrophic happened at Schneider. I have several options available to me in that case

@freightwipper Correct it has been around for years, these new drivers going there have not. Lets be real, Swift, JB, Prime, Werner all of Schneider's competition isn't going to close tomorrow and have all their customer base flocking to Schneider. There will always be competition, just like there is between IC'S. I'm optimistic to see if Schneider will hold up or will the bottom fall out like it usally does when everyone flocks to a carrier.
