You're obviously a troll thats starving for attention.Or your a former western company driver thats so butt hurt by your experience that you need to search through this website and attack people by calling them a lair. So once again you are a LOSER... You've proven that twice already by your own actions and words. Prove I'm lying....
It's real easy to spout b.s. but sorry kiddo no takers. Go back to your miserable life you're obviously of no value to anyone on this forum.

I've talked to a few Western Express L/O's on the flatbed side. Haven't talked to a happy one yet.

From what I've seen, Western Express' lease operation is just as bad as the rest of the company. The rates are lousy, the trucks are wore out before the lease operator gets them, and the money is, if anything, worse than the company side.

That's the impression I've received after talking to drivers actually doing the lease purchase in person. It's been enough to convince me that Western Express' lease deal is just as bad if not worse than many others available from other carriers.

As a matter of fact I'm going to put the proverbial "final nail in the coffin"
I can only speak on my personal experience every driver is different every dm is different I've made the most out of this opportunity for ME and for ME it has worked out great. I spoke with another l.p. driver for western 2 nights ago at a receiver and he was #####ing and moaning. About the miles he was getting and where he was being sent to. I found that interesting since he stated we had the same dm so I then asked the magic question .... Do u turn down a lot of loads his reply of course was yes.

Given the loads I've seen Western Express flatbedders get up in my neck of the woods, I'd turn'em down, too. Western Express is the flat cheapest carrier shippers use around here. They get the crap freight no one else will haul for rates the are obscene. Western Express serves as a great example of both racing to the bottom in bidding freight AND the joys of hauling cheap, heavy freight.

Let me start by saying I started this and went to there L/O oriantation back in the spring of this yr & it is one of the worse companies I have ever went to lucky for me my parents live close by in Murfreesboro so i did'nt need a roach room. No I am not a liar or making it up fact #1 main instructer little blond hair guy ex cop thinks he is a walking rules and reg guide day one paper work drug screen in trailers on there property little weird then road test "joke" come back to 3 stacks of Papa Johns boxes or you can go to a food truck for a small portion of food truck food just so you buy more lol drivers health not a focus here guys . The only good instructer is the one that keeps you late talk mostly about internal things he is a funny #######. The ##### guy that talks about fuel is a college dip #### that never drove all about money not what makes trucking sence. the ladies that come in are just eye candy very snippy if you really start to ask good questions. Most of your day will be about how Van drivers are always the fat drivers and you should go Flatbed and in reallity thats the only div. you can make enough to buy out your truck if you dont train or never go home as a van driver due to miles. long story short me and 5 others were there for van l/o they have the lease trucks against a small wall i would say to walk over there and take a look at what your about to get into and really look over it they are old company truck from western and other companies that are local you are not geting a nbrand new truck and yes they have done some upgrades but not much they do not like to show you repair reports or maint. reports they also will not say if its been in a wreck so this is just info for anyone going not trying to bash them but proof is in there oriantation out of 5 van 1 stayed out of 8 flatbed 3 stayed just saying if you wanna pay $400 -$800 a week for 3 yrs go head. sorry for spelling

I just started this leasing agreement with Western Express about a week ago. Not too keen on running the mountains of the Northeast a lot. Cause I know for a fact if you're running heavy up there. You're gonna end up killing a shiny little pretty truck. And your pay isn't gonna be great after smoking out your fuel. And just to show everyone. I was number one out of 350 drivers from my last company. I know how to conserve my fuel very well. And this was from my last company. So if I can't be paid greatly by Western express. No one can make it in this lease. I'll keep everyone posted on this situation. On where they send me without going in the crazy northeast area.
