i had the ability at the time to give each of the kids cars as they graduated HS. One daughter called a few years later saying her car was dead and she needed a new one. She was highly indignant when i explained it was one per customer

I seem to be spending a lot of time on the East Coast...New Jersey, Philly, Pit, to name three destinations. I've been here twice in the past 5 days and I've discovered something else I don't like.
Making the trip through the hills of West Virginia and Western Maryland with a 40,000+ pound load. Creeping up those hills at maybe 25 mph.
It's a great way to shoot a well-planned schedule in the foot. I'm at a Pilot on I70 and wasn't planning on being here. My original plan was to refuel at the Love's 65 miles away on I81, which is the company fuel solution, then continue for another hour to a travel center or rest area closer to Philly and make my delivery early tomorrow.
But that was before, when I had 2 hours leeway built in, all of which disappeared somewhere in those hills. So now I have to recompute and reconsider the effect of Monday morning commuter traffic in the Philly area. And get up much earlier than I wanted.
But it's still fun watching a Werner driver try to back into a parking space in a large, fairly open truck stop! -

With Big G i make my living on the east coast. I run those same areas you speak of and plan my days at 50 mph thru those areas..
i have also learned that it is necessary to start your days around 0400. After 1900 you will never find parking.Bumper Thanks this. -
