Kinghunter, we used to go down to the AMERICOLD warehouses and cut up the I-5 diagonally to I-95 to get out. (If we were staying east, of course).

 

We can let you know in a few months how its going being an O/O, We recently went L/O (couple of weeks ago) My Fiance and I plan on teaming in the near future.
Right now we plan on staying out for 6-8 weeks and going home for 4 days in August. We average 3200-3400 miles a week as L/O only difference from Company driver that I have really noticed is we get paid a little better and can refuse a load if the deadhead miles are more then we would like.......We work on no more then 10% of miles deadhead.
Central do pay 100% fuel surcharge on all loaded miles.

Well were down to 7 as some had there CDL so they moved on to orientation we have one thats hav'n a hard time read'n english so the instructor is going to let him go said he's a nice guy. Good thing for us as it will be a 2 to 1 yard training more hands on I think. Been easy so far nothing to hard. Hope they work out your ticket hate to see you loose a week. I'll keep ya posted.

 

Sounds like the house that Pete built is doing well for you guys glad to hear that. I have to say they try to push the lease thing in Riverside I think they may even havr a few takers.

We got it taken care of will have to pickup my ticket Thursday or Friday. 2 to 1 in the yard will be a great thing. Glad to hear things are going good !!!

Hey guys...what do they do for the strength test? I don't care about lifting as much as squatting for awhile or getting down on a left bad knee. Any one flunk out from this?

 

Not sure myself, yet. I think you have to lift 75lbs to your waist and 50lbs over your head and kneel, bend??? 6pak has already done it he may know more............
