I just gotta post this....
get this.. CR England driver (no surprise) plowed over a power pole.. when the power line fell and hit the trailer a guy in sleeper of the truck got shocked by a jolt.
Can't make this stuff up.......

Yes everybody makes mistakes but not paying attention and not being try to be safe there's no excuse for. -

Totes can be a giant PITA! Not only to you have to check all the caps and tops to make sure the mouth breathers loading the totes didn't spill product on the top of them, if the product gets warm and builds pressure, and if it vents through the cap it can fumigate your trailer......badly and it can be very difficult to get the smell out. You also have to have plenty of straps on hand. Anythime there is a single tote in a row, it must be strapped over the top and the end tote/s must have 2 straps on the end.
Secrment rules are strict and DOT loves to check -
I say don't haul totes or Hazmat until the pay is worth it and it's not.
