Funny this thread has come back to life this weekend.
The wifey poo and kids are at the camp, so I brought the truck home this weekend for a belated spring cleaning. I'm just now going out to inspect my chains. I'm trying something new this year, wraps on the main drives, as normal, but I'm going to try ratchets on the rear drivers. Either way, maint maint maint..
I'll be doing my usual winter run up this fall, but it never hurts to stay in touch with the gear ..... especially since it's easier to lube ratchets when the temp is a balmy 89 degrees at 8am on a Sunday !!Hammer166 Thanks this. -
last boat i had built there the fiberglass crew didnt want to work after 75Pullin2 Thanks this. -
It only took just short of 4 years for someone to find that intentional faux pas!

LOL ! It's actually even warmer out there now ....... and, as you know, I live next to the water !!
Holy mackerel !! 6 hours out there working on the truck !! I musta lost 12 lbs in sweat !! I had a busted door handle, seized fuel cap locks, a bad pig tail, a blown rear work light, a blown moose light .... etc etc ... -
Hammer166 and joseph1135 Thank this.

I did get the moose light fixed ......
I should invest in bear lights thoo ....... there have been twice the bear hits in northern NS this year, then the same for moose hits ..... -
Did you bring enough trophies for everyone ?
otherhalftw Thanks this.
