Sorry everyone for not getting to this thread earlier.Been busy trying to make the money i spent on this truck for no reason.

First of all i would like to Greatly Thank MHYN for all the help he gave me,if it wasn't for him i would of gave up and went back to driving for somebody else.

It is a shame that 2 drivers can fix a truck and this people that are trained by Detroit that work at these dealers and at the shops in Los Angeles are complete idiots and all the answer they have for you is at least you have new parts on your truck.

The good out of all this is i made a really good friend MHYN.

    Vintage and mhyn Thank this.

I am sorry. I did not quite get what the fix (or process) was. By following trouble shooting, I am guessing doser block assembly.

why you guess doser block assembly is faulty? that poor guy does not make fuel pressure and does not regulate it. the doser block has only valves for fuel and air flow and sensors. which part makes fuel pressure in fuel system and costs $200-250 plus core charge ? ))) Which part regulates fuel pressure and costs $100-110 ? )))

yeah the fuel pressure regulator which sits on tee bottom of doser block and the fuel pump. First must be checked the fuel pressure regulator. there is a thin spring inside and that spring could be broken..

They were just throwing parts at it the whole time.. absolutely incompetent..poor guy I've been there and felt your pain reading that. Another reason why i'll never go to a dealer except for parts.

Got a similar problem last week. Got a code for high fuel temperature at the same time. It was about 20 celcius outside...
Truck shut down on the highway, all lights flashing. Tryed a parked regen for about 10 minutes, wouldnt start.

After waiting 30 minutes, tryed to regen again. Succesfull. Never had any probleme since last week, about 5000 km later.

At least you guys aren't being bent over by Paccar. Its a helpless feeling knowing you have an engine that only the manufacturer can work on.
