They run out of Las Vegas up into Utah mostly. They have 5 compartments on the first trailer and 3 on the other. I'm not sure what they hold but when I left Rebel had the largest with a truck and trailer that had two steer axles like a crane. Flying J is not the best company to work for is what I heard.

Rebel has some weird custom stuff. At my old job across from LAT, they had a straight tanker truck with a small sleeper. Behind he would pull a dry van pup trailer instead of a normal tanker.

Also you see a drop axle right in front of the drives. You flip a switch and it lowers to take weight off the steer. That's the only function it has. It does not steer and only tags and you'll see when the truck is placed in reverse it will automatically lift the axle. You'll also learn that when you forget and leave it down when empty (like I did once) and it's raining the truck does not turn so well.

Yes Sir I do remember that. I also know that most of the staff there were ex- ARCO drivers and what I thought was no fault of theirs. I don't know but Toby may be still running things. I know his son is at the pipeline and is a good fair operator. He wouldn't threaten drivers with lockout and all that BS. But that was awhile ago and he may be retired now, I don't know.

That truck you described loaded fuel in the front and can oil and other goods sold in the station in the rear. They mostly went up north to all the small towns in Nevada.

No doubt. This one in particular is a 5000 gal tank loaded basically to the brim so no surge. Our other DEF truck though, no thanks.

My truck is down so I drove a semi this week for the first time in about 6 months. Luckily I was able to stay focused and remind myself before every turn that I was in a semi. Hauling 9000 gallons legally was cool tho. Then today I got my t&t back but just in time for my 3 days off, don't get to enjoy it until next week.
