It has slowed down a bit in Northern Alberta. A lot of the transient workers were laid off and a lot of East Coasters moved back home. A lot of the locals tend to stay employed. A lot of the bonuses and perks have dried up and we had our OT cut. Still better than looking for a new job though I guess.

I just landed a new position. There is work out there just have to make some calls and pound the pavement.

Busy busy month. Also drilling rigs and service rigs around here now. My owner op has another truck starting on sept 1. We'll see if it stays this way
