The only way to avoid all that crap is to run under your own authority and get your own shippers on your own with no middle men.

Prime drivers talking about them averaging $1.40 something pulling tanker getting 71%, you know Prime is screwing them there also.
A friend of mine I met at Crete left to work for Landstar and deals with shady cheap brokers all the time. Plus soo many loads are double and triple brokered loads lol it's such a joke.

Yeah we complain but hey at least we can choose not to take the cheap .90 nestle loads lol

I do believe SNI choice is the best bet as of now but it's quickly deteriorating.

Grow the program as fast as they are and then holding loads longer and the rates dropping as fast as they are is ridiculous.

I hauled a load out of Laredo about a month ago. 2.32 a mile

Same exact load now pays 1.17 a mile for the exact same load.

    That's a 48% drop in the rate.

No this is a short term customer for new construction build of academy sports.

The load dropped in a months time incrementally over 4 weeks from that rate.

We also are doing same loads to Phoenix and Bordentown NJ.

And those rates have dropped also.

I believe it may have been critical loads the 1st week then as the time frame eased up so did the rates.

But 50% in a month seems more like greed.

    sure does.

so load availability across the bpoard has remained fairly constant? But the program has grown by x factor?

I am curious to know how many of the new choice guys are below a yr experience. I was a witness of one guy helping another guy that seemed to me to be failure in the making. I hope for the best for dude, but man, seemed an exercise in trip planning as much as anything.

I'm hearing an average of 50 a week come on board.

Of course the failure rate is unknown but I'd bet it's close to if not more than 50% but who knows. They sure won't tell us.

    Claimed 1900 IC's as of 11/2014, 2200 as of 7/2015. So that's ruffly a growth of 34 per month.

No, that's a 300 IC rise over 9 months, roughly.
