WHY DO SO MANY DRIVERS HATE APU'S and Inverters on trucks

The only thing I see is a potentially dropped comma. However the conjunction allows it to stand alone.

By adding a comma you are still correct, however the issue is that it becomes redundant.

...also. I have gone and looked it up. We are both correct in a way.

The CORRECT spelling of the phobia which I am referring to was used. It is in fact an "o" and not an "a."

(You can look it up, I promise it is spelled correctly.)

However, I will give this to you. It seems that in the creation of the word as a whole, when the hippo was truncated the "a" was left off. Some twisted guy that came up with the term (and considering it defines the fear of long words...that guy was pretty twisted.) purposefully misspelled it in order to emphasize the length of the word.

 

I went to therapy a few times. Went through several therapists in fact...

Some quit.





Some turned to drugs and alcohol.

When I bought my truck it had an APU... the seller told me how much money I wil save because of it.... In average an apu will take 1/2 gallons of fueel if you use it for ac and electricity (about same as a cummings ISX idle)

it requires maintenence and you will not find places that do it ......

Not sure what to say about APU-s.... About the same as wings under the trailer .... they save you fuel but you spend money when you replace them because you hit something that you would have not if no wings were installed!

I bet an engineer thought about all this stuff!

 

And their pockets get filled up a little more each day.
