    Good point. I have found that "Regional" suits my tastes much better than OTR/48 State. REAL home time (full weekends), and more variety than a 'dedicated' gig (I get bored easily on the same roads to the same customers all the time). And it is possible to get decent pay and miles.
    Everyone has their own tastes and importance's to themselves.

    It isn't quite my cup of tea. The closest I would care to get to that is regional.

    But I can see where some folks would find running all over the lower 48 appealing.

    This could be a case of someone lacking experience and a job with a "mega" was all he could get. It happens.

    The important thing is to not tolerate it for longer than necessary.
