Actually no, they can detect a specific thc level in blood to determine intoxication the same as they can determine blood-alcohol concentration.

Just because it's in your urine doesn't mean you're high, as the test tests for cannabis metabolites that are the byproduct of your body breaking down the active compounds that get stored in your liver and other fatty tissues.

If there was a sure fire way to beat tests no one would ever fail. If you want to truck play by the rules. If it's not in your system there's a 99.9% chance you'll pass.

    I love these threads!:biggrin_25516:

Always devolves into the potheads crying foul and clashing with the "war on drugs" folks.
That's funny right there; I don't care who you are.....:biggrin_25517::biggrin_25526:

At some point the technology for testing if someone is currently under the influence of marijuana will have to catch up to the times. Marijuana is on it's way to becoming legal for recreational use on state AND federal level.
There is no reason a person should be prevented from driving if they smoked a joint a day ago and have no actual THC in their blood.

Blood tests can be used for actually finding active THC levels, providing proof of being under the influence of marijuana.

A breathalyzer is also being developed: http://www.medicaldaily.com/new-mar...etermine-if-driver-under-influence-pot-312648

I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it. Stick to the drugs they don't test for. Like LSD, and mushrooms. Heck, huff some paint.

Yeah, gold beard always gives it away. Wouldn't it be freaking funny to show up for a urine test like that!?

They say the gold and silver paint is the BEST!

The testing is required re: FMCSA Regulations to drive in the U.S. There is no similar regulation for Canada. The only approved testing for FMCSA is urine, so it cannot be recorded as a failed test, but only as a violation of company policy.
