Flat bed companies that hire students or train?

It's easy to seek out the bottom feeders, that's why they are always pointed towards them.

 

Halvor lines, WE, PTL, etc.... are not some of the better companies.

 

Depends on the persons MVR and criminal record. Does your company hire ex-cons, felons, drivers with bad MVR's? If not, then WE, PTL, Carolina Cargo, etc. are excellent companies for those drivers. Not everyone hits the job market with equal credentials.

 

China, please take this in the most constructive way possible: you have a long and prolific history of posting on here; and your knowledge of and about large & mega carriers may be unrivaled. However; you time and time and time again steer people toward large carriers with less than stellar reputations. Why?

 

Depending on the driver and the drivers questions; some companies seem like a good fit. It's an open forum, so anyone that disagrees with one of my recommendations should offer an alternative. For example, if I recommend Freymiller to someone and others disagree, they should post an alternative or several alternatives, rather than just saying,"That's a horrible recommendation."

The problem is these type of garbage companies are thrown out there for all of the new people.

Take Halvor lines for example. I see that name thrown out there and not for the felons, bad mvr crowd. It's a horrible micro manage you to death company. I know two people that have worked for them. A close friend of mine is one that was also a former employee of mine in my past career. Probably the best guy I ever had work for me.

They lied about everything about the job just like all of the other bottom feeders. It's a wonder they will hire from just about anywhere. Can't keep the seats filled.

Which company do you recommend the OP apply with? He's had two wrecks within the last 36 months. He's looking for trucking company names to apply with. I won't lecture the guy, but I will answer his question about company names. No brainwashing to it, just wants company names. So far he's only getting rejections.

 

Any places in LV that I can pick up some equipment for flat bedding I need something that I can use to put on my edge protects and such without getting on the deck?

 

My post was probably more suited in a different thread. I see these constant horrible recommendations and I just don't get it. There is no reason other then being a criminal or bad driver to start with most of the horrible companies that get thrown out here.

Yes I understand the op has a tough road ahead and needs to probably take what they can get.
