But a alternative is the sands casino. And going to watch the music festival tonight at 8. Went and watched some rehearsals and the small stages sounded good! ALICE IN CHAINS is the main attraction, but not a fan. But 3 days ago 3 doors down was here. Dang!Missed it.

Not a band I'd go to see specifically, but if I happened to be there I might go see 3 doors down.
...unfortunately I don't do too well at concerts. I get about as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs!Chasing dollars Thanks this. -
Keep in mind, the Lehigh Valley (among many other cities) has Uber -- a taxi service-ish. Make sure you find a "free ride" link so you can get your first ride or two for free. I used to sit in the parking lot at Sands waiting for the beeper to go off.

I prefer public transit, my bike, or my two feet to get around. Don't like apps that require too much access to my info.

I thought I was going to have a chance to stop nearby an old family haunt. Waynesville, North Carolina. Truthfully there is that much there, but I do happen to know that the nearby towns have hotels with RV and truck parking.
The hotels often have some incredible views, in the towns there are often times some of those older mom-and-pop shops that sell all sorts of random trinkets.
Admittedly, I don't need any trinkets but I would've liked today to get some pictures and stick them here as well as stretch my legs.
Nope! They found a run I could do with the just barely 8 hours I got back at midnight. Oh well, hopefully my loss will be someone else's gain.Dreamboat Thanks this. -
I got some time after all!
Parked in Roanoke, mostly to see some family I haven't seen in a couple years...but we went sightseeing after.
You can read the sign and it'll tell you all I know about where I was.
Had fun and it was well worth the purposeful detour.Chasing dollars Thanks this. -
It's awesome to b able to get off the truck sometimes. Especially when u get views like that.
Vilhiem Thanks this.
